Ty Cobb 1958 Signed & Handwritten Letter JSA LOA

A handwritten four-page letter on Tyrus R. Cobb personalized stationery from Ty Cobb to Bisher. The letter is dated 4/14/58 and reads in part, "I want to explain again my position, I tried to explain delicately how I felt and hoped you would react as I hoped. Now any story for your use in your column I was happy to cooperate but a story for magazine or periodicals constitutes my participation and which I rightfully should have contract of as to fee etc. ..." Cobb further states his unhappiness in regard to how the story was used and is requesting more money than was initially agreed upon. Cobb signs the letter "P.S. I haven't been and am not now a well man as you might be able to judge with this letter lacking proper form and composition so please make allowances./ T.R.C." All in green ink. Accompanied by a letter of authenticity from JSA.
