MILLER HUGGINS YANKEES HOF'ER TLS SIGNED LETTER! SCARCE PSA/DNA LOA

1915 Miller Huggins Signed Letter, PSA/DNA NM 7.

One Hall of Fame manager toasts another in this typed message on St. Louis Cardinals team letterhead from Miller Huggins, best remembered today as the skipper of the first New York Yankees World Championship teams of the 1920's. Mailed in the closing days of the 1915 season, the letter speaks glowingly of the departing Clarke as a manager, a player and a man. "In losing Clarke the profession has certainly lost one who has been a great credit to it," Huggins writes.
