Walter Johnson 1940 Signed & Handwritten Letter Beckett BAS LOA

A single-page handwritten letter on Walter P. Johnson letterhead from Johnson to Bert. In the letter, Johnson is telling Bret that he is glad to be at the farm again, where he can enjoy life. Johnson further discusses his children and ends the letter stating that the fall was wonderful, but as winter is approaching, it is getting colder. Signed "Hope all is fine with you and Good luck always/ Walter Johnson." All in blue ink. Of note, he mentions his son, Walter Jr., which offers the buyer an additional partial signature as he signed it "Walter J." Accompanied by a letter of authenticity from JSA.
